It’s a challenge to ensure effective communication of the value propositions and related solutions to our diverse industrial customer base – and that’s where you come in!

Novotek is looking to expand our marketing capability, with a heavy emphasis on digital presence and communications. With our range of solutions and customers, we’re looking to bring someone on board who can learn to translate “technical” to “human”, using modern digital tools as their medium!

Your Goals & Responsibilities

Working with Novotek UK & Ireland’s marketing lead, you’ll be taking on a mix of actions aimed at giving us a higher overall capacity for delivering key content to a mix of customers and partners. This role is intended to offer a path for a junior/intermediate starter to take on increasing responsibility over time. In the near term, your core work will include:

  • Maintain and expand our web-based content across several interrelated sites
    • Including web page development, editing/finalisation of various downloadable content types and digital video editing/production
  • Develop and execute customer-focused communications across several channels, including direct e-mail, LinkedIn marketing and sponsored content placements
  • Ensure lead-generation tactics have results properly reflected in our CRM system, and aid in delivering reporting that will help management assess the effectiveness of different tactics
  • Aid in preparation and execution of in-person marketing events such as trade shows and conferences
  • Aid in development of marketing plans and budgets; research different channels and tactics for evaluation by the broader sales and marketing leadership
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and related documentation for key vendor partners in support of co-funding processes and reviews

We will evaluate both junior and intermediate level candidates for this role. We’re looking for an individual with a certain flair for communications coupled with an ability to execute. Different paths may all lead to a good fit, so we’re looking for someone with a mix of:

  • Post-secondary education in business, communications or marketing; and/or education in web development and/or digital content development
  • 1-5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Working familiarity with CRM systems, web content management systems and marketing automation systems
    • Advanced skills with any or all of these will stand out to us!
  • Skills and aptitude with graphical design and layout is ideal
  • Excellent written communications skills
  • An ability to use routines, templates and structure to make delivery more efficient

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000-£23,000 per year

Location: This position will be based in our Leeds office
